That Nib

Bought this nib from Joli's ‑ art store slash Disneyland.

I'm not sure what brand or nib kind it is but I'm really liking it. Just started practicing calligraphy again for an upcoming commission. I hope my right hand remembers those college day moves.

I used watercolor for practice and random words in my head and words I hear from the FM radio.

So far here's one of the clean works I've done… so far.

 I've been using my old earphones from Apple and borrowing my friend's Sennheiser and I think they're one of the greats already. But I've come to experience a new one! Yehey!

The Cupcake Project

Logo studies for my little sister's small pastry business.

I think that's what she needs. All about her.

But I thought of us three sisters. If maybe her business will do very well and became known for the goodies, I should name it after us three, of course that includes.. ahem.. me.

Dainty... nice touch.

But of course she wouldn't want her spotlight on to us three if all of these are her efforts, right? So I thought of her on this design... alone.

But... She works inside the house, which is a family property. So...

That'll do it.

I was browsing for some inspiration for typography and I stumble upon the Young Jerks. Super cool and kick ass talent! I wish I had more free time so I could make wall designs like this:

I love minimal designs with great impact. These artworks are so classy because of the absolute colors.. yet there's a modern twist rendered because of the typeface. Hands down... I just love it.

Those Quotes

I've been on Pinterest for months now... (see? my Pinterest tab right over there -------> ).

These past few days, quotes somehow... gave me wisdom, and answers to things that bothers me big time. A lot of pictures are really good! A lot of them are inspiring. Especially images with quotes on them.

I pinned this photo months ago because this is how I felt.

How romantic...

But not too long...

I can't help myself on pinning this...
